I first visited Skagit Island in the mid 2000’s with my partner. We had paddled in on the flood from Deception Pass and stayed one night. We had the place to ourselves with great views of Kiket Island across from the campsite, Hope Island to the south, Similk Beach to the northeast and the channel leading to Deception Pass to the west.
